Anne is originally from Beiarn in Northern Norway. She went to high school, college and university in nearby Bodø, earning degrees in education K-10, History, English and Humanities among others. Anne lived in Pennsylvania, USA, for 13 years before moving back to Norway 3 years ago. During her years in America, she worked as a teacher in the local school district.

Annie is a experienced early years teacher having taught in a variety of schools in the U.S. and Denmark. She worked most recently at the International School of Billund. Billund being the home of LEGO inspired her to find ways to include play in her teaching practice.
She enjoys staying active outside of school, rock climbing, running and playing netball.
